Painting Classes & Workshops
Josef and Susan have been teaching art to adults and children for many years and the
authority of their teaching has always been enhanced by the high standard of their work. Here are
some of the art classes available in 2004. More classes will be added as the year progresses so be

These are two separate week long workshops that are being run in the summer.
These three day workshops will start at 10.30am and finish at 1.00pm every day.
Equipment and refreshments will be provided. Two age groups will be catered for,
5-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds. Book now to avoid disappointment. Please book through the Courtyard Centre, Midleton. 10 Euro Deposit.

Workshops and Weekend Painting Breaks for Adults:
Josef and Susan run successful painting workshops and painting breaks during the summer months in various scenic locations
around Cork such as Glanmire, Kinsale, Baltimore and Clonakilty. These are designed to help both beginners and experienced painters.
Josef teaches mainly oil, acrylic and pastel techniques wheras Susan focuses more on watercolour and drawing.
The workshops are designed to help students "see" colour and composition, to express themselves with spontaneity and to capture the feeling and mood of the landscape.
Weather permitting, classes will be held outdoors but for those "soft" Irish
days - good studio facilities will be available.
The workshops and painting breaks will commence at 10.00 am every morning and will finish at 4.00 pm with breaks in between for coffee and lunch.
Some easels, tables and chairs will be provided.

This location is very popularis a one day workshop for adults. This location has views over Glanmire Woods and the Glashboy River.
We will be hopefully be able to work outdoors, but there are good indoor facilities if the weather fails us.
The workshop will run from 10am to 4pm - coffee will be provided but please bring your own lunch.
